Kierra “Ki Ki” Sheard-Kelly is an American gospel singer, songwriter, fashion designer, actress, entrepreneur, author, and creative director. Ki Ki earned a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in psychology from Wayne State University, and currently working on a master’s degree in clinical psychology. She takes pride in giving back. She’s the founder of BRL (Bold! Right! Life!), a national organization with 15 local chapters dedicated to youth empowerment. What I admire most about Ki Ki is her authenticity. She always keeps it real. Her music inspires me because there is always a message in every song. One of my favorite songs of hers is called “Flaws”. The song flaws reminds us the we are all created in the image of God. It encourages us to love ourselves even with all our imperfections, because God loves us just the way we are. Her music will forever be in rotation on my playlist!
