Our mission is to enrich the lives of Nashville’s youth by providing opportunities that encourage them to reach their full potential spiritually, academically, socially, and physically through daily programming in a Christ-centered community.
The countdown begins!
Please join us for our YES Annual Dinner Event on Thursday, October 17th at Woodmont Hills Church beginning at 6PM. You’re invited to meet amazing students, learn about YES’ vision for the year ahead and celebrate the ministry movement. Event proceeds fund scholarships to the nearly 100 kids attending after school and summer programs at YES. The evening begins with a reception followed by a program featuring past and present promising scholars of YES.
YES has been serving children in South Nashville since 1956. Our mission has always been to serve our community and help kids reach their full potential. YES was originally known as “The Hobby Shop” due to the many workshops offered for youth to learn new skills and peak new interests.

According to USNEWS, in High School, college readiness is at 27.4%. By providing opportunities that aren’t normally seen in our community, we are able to open many doors for our scholars. We offer support through our reading program, READY, and extra curricular activities like our Garden Club, which allow us to provide our children with an outlet to explore new hobbies while also helping on homework, assignments, and life. Our goal is to be the support and backbone for our scholars so they can become whatever their hearts desire.
