2010 Golf Challenge

2010 Golf Challenge

New this year:

We have moved the challenge to a FRIDAY to hopefully better accommodate your busy schedules and allow you to have a early start to your weekend. Also to thank you for your amazing fundraising efforts on behalf of YES we are working hard to improve, planning a first class tournament experience. Each golfer will start their day with breakfast, followed by a fabulous day on the course including complimentary stocked beverage/snack carts, a unique TaylorMade/Addias Mobile Pro Shop spending spree, a catered buffet lunch, an awards presentation, opportunities to bid on “one of a kind” silent auction items, hole in one contests and much more!

It’s that time of year again! We are busy getting ready for our 2010 Golf Challenge. This event is extremely important to Y.E.S. and the children that we serve…and it’s a lot of fun! This year, our goal is to have 20 teams raise a total of over $100,000. We appreciate your support and/or participation with this event in the past! We can do it with your help!

As you may know, our Golf Challenge format is very different than other tournaments. We ask our players to assist us in making this a successful event. All you have to do is express interest or serve as a Team Captain.

So you may be asking, “so, what kind of commitment does that really mean?” Well, it’s easy, really.

This message is being sent to you, a Friend of Y.E.S., to ask that you consider serving as a Team Captain. Then, you rally three others to play with you and you are ready to start raising funds for the Y.E.S. Golf Challenge. We even provide you with all of the materials necessary to be successful! You, and those that are part of your team, are then asked to send one of our fundraising letters and/or e-mails to 50 people (friends, co-workers, classmates, business associates, family members, etc.) with a goal of raising $1,250 each.

What if I do not play golf? You can still serve as a Team Captain! You can find four people interested in playing and ask that each of those four players help you towards or beyond your goal.

Would you be willing to captain a team this year? Do you know of anyone else that might be interested? If so, please call us at (615) 315-5333 or send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to let us know that you want to be a Team Captain or participate, volunteer or sponsor this year’s Y.E.S. Golf Challenge.

And…Mark your calendars:
