The Center Directors pictured with their Children and Volunteers of the Year
The Y.E.S. Annual Dinner and Silent Auction was a big success! The Annual Dinner is a night to recognize our students, and honor our volunteers. Our emcee, Rodney Dunigan of News Channel 5, led the program, which featured three speakers, Frank Stevenson (Board Member, and former Y.E.S participant), Antujan Johnson (a recent MTSU graduate and Y.E.S staff member), and Katera Swift (a current Y.E.S student). Additionally, each Center Director took time to honor a Child of the Year and Volunteer of the Year from his center. The Child of the Year is a student who leads, has a positive attitude, and excels academically. Because academic achievement is an important part of our mission, we also honor our students who are recipients of a Y.E.S scholarship. We are so thankful to each supporter and volunteer who made this night possible, and we congratulate our students on all their hard work!
