Reading one-on-one with a YES student
Do you enjoy working with children? Are you looking for a way to volunteer in the community this summer? Then, the Reading Buddies program at the YES Center at St. Luke’s is the opportunity for you!
Reading Buddies is a six week program where adult volunteers from the community spend one hour a week reading and playing reading games with a child. Children in 1st-6th grade participate.
Reading times are Mondays (all grades, 10:00 – 2:00 PM), Tuesdays (4th-6th grades, 10:15 – 12:15), and Wednesdays (1st – 3rd grade, 10:15 – 12:15). Reading Buddies begins on June 15 and will end on July 31.
