Jevon Kearse Gives Thanksgiving Meals to YES Families

Jevon Kearse partnered with Youth Encouragement Services (YES) to host the “Food for the Holidays” event for 100 low-income families in Nashville.  This event was on Friday, November 21st from 6:00-8:00pm at the YES Lindsley Center downtown.

Jevon spent the evening with the YES families from our Lindsley Center. He spent time with the YES kids, signed autographs, and then personally gave each family a box of food complete for a holiday meal.

“We are so thankful to Jevon for organizing this special holiday event for the families at Youth Encouragement Services,” said Chris Barnhill, Executive Director, YES. “He is offering hope to those in need. We are proud to partner with Jevon and we look forward to his future involvement at YES.”

Kearse, a 6-foot-4, 265-pound defender, who earned the nickname “The Freak” during his playing days at the University of Florida, has played in 111 career games.  His statistics include 444 tackles, 69.5 sacks, one interception and 29 forced fumbles.

Thank you to Kelvin Sales (Franklin Wal-Mart General Manager) and Jevon Kearse for making this event a success!
