Happy New Year! 2011 is off to a great start, and our 2010-2011 Basketball League is in full swing! The Y.E.S. basketball program engages children of all ages, with both boys and girls teams. Through this organized play, children from the inner-city are given a positive outlet for their energy and a safe place to play basketball.
With so many students involved this year, it’s guaranteed to be one of our best seasons yet! The teams involved this year include children from Youth Encouragement Services, The Dream Team Coalition, Andrew Jackson, Eastside Church of Christ, and St. Luke’s PBC.
Games are played every Saturday at the YES McIver Center. The tournament will begin March 7th and the championship game will be played March 12th. Come out and cheer on the YES teams!
