2010: What a year it has been!

As we wrap up another year at Y.E.S., we are in awe of what a busy and blessed year it has been. From tutoring and Bible study to service projects and field trips, it has been a year full of learning, growth, and a little fun, too. As always, we seek to enrich the lives of our students through our regular after school programming and summer programming. Summer camp at Camp Sycamore was, as usual, a favorite highlight of the year. Unfortunately, a service opportunity presented itself with the May flood, but our students responded by volunteering their time to pass out food and water and assist with other flood relief efforts. We have also enjoyed special opportunities such as Titans and Predators games, field trips to Nashville landmarks and businesses, and most recently, “Shop with a Jock”.
As you can see, 2010 has been terrific, but nothing we do would be possible without the support of each individual who supports us. Whether you financially support us or volunteer your time, you have impacted the lives of children in a positive, uplifting way, giving them opportunities for a bright future. It is because of you that we can live out our mission: To enrich the lives of children in inner city Nashville by encouraging them to reach their full potential.
